 Carreg-y-big is situated on Offa’s Dyke at Grid Reference SJ252322 in a superb tranquil location with picturesque views of the Shropshire rolling countryside, yet only 3 miles from Oswestry.
The B&B facilities are incorporated in a converted barn, which is now an independent centrally heated wing of the house and is available for exclusive use. The wing includes 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms, a private lounge with TV, DVD and Video, a private dining room with log burning fire, shower room, bathroom with WC, a separate WC and kitchen complete with fridge, washing machine, toaster, kettle, sink and microwave. Coffee and tea making ingredients are provided. All our rooms have individual locks for your privacy and each room is supplied with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, thermostatically controlled radiator, hair dryer and mirror. Towels for all guests are provided. Evening meals (including a complimentary glass of wine or beer) or BBQ and packed lunches are available by prior arrangement. The location is ideal for walkers and those wishing for a tranquil break in a delightful setting. There is a clothes drying facility and luggage can be transported to walkers’ next location by prior arrangement.
